Episode 132 - On today's show we introduce you to Greg and Sheila Yocom from Mid America Obstacle Course Racers (MAOCR). For those that live near (or are visiting) Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, this is the group for you. We've featured many of the local and regional OCR groups before, but never one this close to it's inception. Next up is some interviews from Tough Mudder Georgia from a few weeks ago. We talk to Chris Maltbie, who helps design obstacles and who has done 75 miles at WTM the last 2 years. We also speak with Start Line MC, Tahir Moore. Tahir was Sean Corvelle before there was a Sean Corvelle. Matt got to interview Tahir after finally meeting him for the first time. Episode 131 - You may have seen the ORAL I.V. logo on the chest or arms of several OCR athletes recently including Joey Patrolia, Orla "Vermonster" Walsh, and Sarah Pozdol. According to their website, ORAL I.V. is "a hydration aid developed to enhance the body’s uptake of water through the introduction of a proprietary blend of trace minerals". "ORAL I.V. aids the hydration process for individuals who train hard, work hard and are committed to peak performance." Sometime last year, ORM posted an article written by another source that was not kind to ORAL IV. We had a phone call with Bob Jones, president of ORAL IV, where Bob asked to give a rebuttal to that article. We told him our podcast would be a perfect forum for that. We then invited him to appear on the show, along with a member of the OCR community who would ask some questions about the product. Mr. Jones said it was a great idea, and referred us to Dr. Anthony Beck, the creator of the product, as the man to be on the call. Joshua Gustin Grant, is a previous guest on the podcast and a guy known to question almost everything. So I invited him on the call to do the inquiring.
